Finca Parera Clar 2019

Finca Parera Clar is a white wine from the D.O. Penedès made by the Finca Parera winery, which is led by Jordi Parera, a wine-producer with more than 45 years of experience. This wine is a blend of the Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer and Xarel·lo varieties.

The grape used for Finca Parera Clar comes from Sant Llorenç d'Hortons, a small town located in Alt Penedès around 235 metres above sea level. The grape harvest is carried out manually using small ten kilogram boxes to avoid damaging the grapes. Once they have entered the winery, the grapes are pressed gently, extracting the flower must for each native variety.

Once the must has been obtained, it undergoes static racking and later ferments at a low temperature with native yeasts. Finca Parera Clar is clarified with clay and filtered lightly before being bottled. It is not aged.
